AZZALI ZAIN MOHD ZAKARIA Encik Azzali Zain Bin Mohd Zakaria is the Managing Partner of the Legal Firm. He read his law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom and graduated with an Honours Degree. Upon obtaining his Bachelors of Law (LL.B.) in 1993 in United Kingdom, he went to complete his Certificate of Legal Practice (C.L.P.) locally. He chambered under the pupilage of Tuan Haji Sofian Bin Ali of Messrs. Sofian Syed Ahmad & Co. where he gained valuable experience both in litigation and conveyancing. Following his pupillage, Encik Azzali Zain became a Legal Assistant at Messrs. Bosco Philip Anthony & Associates, handling civil litigation and labour/industrial-relation matters. His employer, Mr. Anthony, is a former unionist who is conversant in the various employment issues and it was at the firm that Encik Azzali Zain acquired the knowledge and skills in handling labour/industrial-relation matters. In December 1997, Encik Azzali Zain joined a newly established legal firm of Messrs. Sharizal Jimin & Co., as a partner and solicitor-in-charge of litigation and conveyancing. At the firm, he established the firm's litigation and conveyancing departments respectively and secured the panelship of various esteemed organisations and reputable financial institutions. In early 2000, he opened-up Messrs. Azzali Zain & Co. and thereafter, amalgamated with Messrs. T. A. Fadzil, Hairul & Associates, as the firm's partner and solicitor-in-charge of the Kuala Lumpur branch. Encik Azzali Zain also holds a Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice (D.S.L.P.) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (I.I.U.M.). The knowledge in the Syariah law complement his job in giving advice and rendering services to the various Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions. As the Managing Partner of the Legal Firm, Encik Azzali Zain handles the management and marketing aspect of the Legal Firm and with all the staff under him, administers the employment and welfare of his employees with tact and utmost professionalism. His knowledge in industrial relations and labour matters assists and supports his current portfolios. Presently, Encik Azzali Zain is pursuing his Certified Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) at the International Centre For Education In Islamic Finance (INCEIF), under the patronage of Bank Negara Malaysia. He also gives lectures and seminars for financial institutions and organisations on matters related to the laws in Malaysia, particularly in the field of Syariah transactions and financing. KADARIAH ABDUL KARIM Puan Kadariah Binti Abdul Karim is a Partner and the head of the Litigation Department in the Legal Firm. She graduated in 1989 from the University of Malaya with LL.B. (Hons) in 1989 and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1990. She started her legal practice in May 1990 and has served various legal firms within the Klang Valley before joining the former Messrs. T. A. Fadzil, Hairul & Associates (Kuala Lumpur). Amongst the legal firms that she had served and contributed her years of experience were the formerly known firm of Messrs. Baharuddin Ali & Co., Messrs. T. K. Ooi & Associates and Nora & Associates. She has years of working experience in the various legal fields, such as corporate banking, corporate litigation, general litigation, in particular, debt recovery, company law, family law, probate and administration, labour/industrial-relation matters as well as in Syariah law. Having had those experience in her area of expertise, she heads the Litigation Department and handles her Clients with great finesse. Puan Kadariah holds a Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice (D.S.L.P.) from the International Islamic University (I.I.U.M.) and the Diploma in Islamic Banking (BIRT). Besides being a legal practitioner, she is also a Commissioner for Oaths, having been appointed as one since 2003. In September 2007, Puan Kadariah was commissioned as a Syariah Counsel by the Syariah High Court in Kuala Lumpur and thereon, she is also legally qualified to represent clients in the Syariah matters. CIK ZULIANA ELIZA ABDULLAH Cik Zuliana Eliza Abdullah is a Partner and the head of the Conveyancing Department in the Legal Firm. She graduated from the MARA University of Technology (UiTM) with the Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2001. She read in the chamber of Encik Muhammad Sabri Mohd Saman of Messrs. Sabri, Nazli, Lana & Azizan, in Subang Jaya and upon being admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2002, she was retained as the Legal Assistant at the firm. At her former firm, Puan Cik Zuliana Eliza was given the responsibility for the overall handling of both conveyancing and litigation matters of that firm. Being the only junior solicitor in the firm, she was given various tasks to handle, which she had performed impeccably. Inevitably, those valuable experiences have given additional advantage to her as an advocate and solicitor compared to her peers. Puan Cik Zuliana Eliza joined Messrs. T.A. Fadzil, Hairul & Associates (Kuala Lumpur) in early 2005 and was put in-charge of the Conveyancing Department. Having been nurtured with the various assignments and matters within the conveyancing fields, Puan Cik Zuliana has emerged as an exceptionally knowledgeable solicitor in her area of expertise. Puan Cik Zuliana Eliza also gives talks and conducts seminars for employees of financial institutions and organisations within the Legal Firm's clientele in the areas of conveyancing (commercial and residential) to furnish them with the relevant legal knowledge and to address the pertinent current legal issues. She is currently pursuing her Master in Law (LLM) to equip herself to the evolution in the fields of law as she always believe in the saying "There are no boundaries in pursuit of knowledge".
